Our Founder

Lunch's founder Amy Miranda is one of the most awarded integrated Executive Producers in North America, and she knows how to make a production feel easy.  Amy believes creating things should be accessible, collaborative, creative and fun. It was on these four principles that Lunch was founded 12 years ago.

She began her career in the early days of CNN.com in Atlanta and since then, Amy has produced, conceptualized and managed thousands of campaigns, applications, productions. Her experience ranges from developing frequency/loyalty programs to global advertising campaigns.  Amyʼs work has garnered her multiple Gold Cannes Cyber Lions, One Show Pencils, and industry recognition for both high quality creative - and results. Amy has held management positions with U8TV/Alliance Atlantis, Henderson Bas, TAXI, and Grip Ltd.

In May of 2009 Amy moved forward in executing her unique vision for creative production made easy with the launch of Lunch. Lunch is a network of companies, artists and creators who work both together and separately to create everything from a children's series for Nickelodeon to experiential content for clients like Paramount Pictures. Lunch has also provided full-service strategic, creative and production services for campaigns for brands such as Amy's Kitchen, sid lee, BRITA, Microsoft and Red Bull.

Lunch is a place where our clients don't need to worry about workflow or logistics. We are collaborative, transparent and inclusive. We think making things should be fun. In fact many of our collaborators were actually former clients. We think that says it all. They can tell you about working with us, and what made them decide to become a part of the network. That's the best reference we could ask for.

Amy is often present in industry panel discussions, a frequent speaker at conferences (FITC, NXNE, TEDx), universities, awards show judge and is also known for her non-profit work in founding and curating Canadian think tank Inter-action. Amy currently sits on the board of ArtsCan Circle which works to encourage the self-esteem of Indigenous youth in Northern Indigenous communities through a cooperative exploration of the arts.  Amy is also a passionate activist, Healing Practitioner (ascension.institute), and advocate for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Wellness was built in to Lunch's model and Amy is honored to serve her community as both a survivor and mentor.

“Amy is one of the hardest working producers in the industry. Her knowledge of production and her ability to lead a team is quite inspiring. I really enjoy working with Amy because she has a solution for any problem that arises.” - Jason Zada, Director

“Amy has been and continues to be one of the most important people I've ever met. She's a powerhouse of creative flow and has a dedication to innovative ideas that is hard to rival. We first started working together in 2008 when she was the Production Director of Interactive at TAXI Canada. Since our initial projects she's moved on to create and lead an important, Canadian born, digital group that represents some of the strongest artists and production talents in world. Her passion for progress and determination to create important, thought provoking media through collaboration is a catalyst for a changing industry that will one day follow in her footsteps, but be years behind. It's an honour to work with her.” - Paul Bazay, Digital Director/Co-Founder Sajak&Farki
