Our Founder - Amy Miranda

Who is Lunch?

Lunch's founder Amy Miranda is one of the most awarded integrated producers in North America, and she knows how to make a production feel easy.
Amy believes creating things should be accessible, collaborative, creative and fun. It was on these four principles that Lunch was founded.

Amy is passionate about the integrated space and whether itʼs Technical, Creative or Conceptual she lives and breathes it. Having worked in all facets of the industry Amy offers a unique multidisciplinary perspective, which is met with an equal degree of humor, creativity and commitment to service levels, quality and results.

She began her career in the early days of CNN.com in Atlanta and since then, Amy has produced, conceptualized and managed thousands of large-scale online campaigns, applications and solutions ranging from frequency programs to e-commerce sites.

She now draws on over 13 years of Interactive, Creative, Strategic and Operations experience delivering internationally award-winning digital solutions. Amyʼs work has garnered her multiple Gold Cannes Cyber Lions, One Show Pencils, and industry recognition for both high quality creative - and results.

Her ability to assess, strategize and implement, coupled with her passion for creative have made her one of the interactive industry's creative production experts.

Sheʼs worked as an Editor, Designer, Developer, Technology Director, Project Manager & Interactive Consultant at companies including iXL, CNN, U8TV/Alliance Atlantis, Activate and Henderson Bas. Amy was most recently Agency-side as Director of Interactive Production for both TAXI and Grip Limited.

In May of 2009 Amy moved forward in executing her unique vision for integrated production made easy with the launch of Lunch. Lunch is a network of companies who work both together and separately to create high quality integrated work for clients, agencies, and production companies. Where clients don't need to worry about workflow or logistics, because Lunch is a true collaborative network led by someone who's led them all hundreds of times before.

“Amy is one of the hardest working producers in the industry. Her knowledge of digital and her ability to lead a team is quite inspiring. I really enjoy working with Amy because she has a solution for any problem that arises.”
Jason Zada, Director

“Amy has been and continues to be one of the most important people I've ever met. She's a powerhouse of creative flow and has a dedication to innovative ideas that is hard to rival. We first started working together in 2008 when she was the Production Director of Interactive at TAXI Canada. Since our initial projects she's moved on to create and lead an important, Canadian born, digital group that represents some of the strongest artists and production talents in world. Her passion for progress and determination to create important, thought provoking media through collaboration is a catalyst for a changing industry that will one day follow in her footsteps, but be years behind. It's an honour to work with her.”

“Amy is simply one of the best Executive Producers I have ever worked with. She has worked closely with the team here at Saatchi to help us produce some of the best digital projects we've created in recent years. She knows exactly which partners to bring in to make a project great, and she works incredibly hard and sweats all the details. Oh - and she's great fun to work with. I can't wait until our next project together.”
Brian Sheppard, EVP Co-Executive Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi

“Amy is the most effective producer I have worked with in my entire career. She truly understands all the steps, roles, challenges in digital production and can make intelligent decisions in seconds. She was able to provide us with a top quality deliverable in crazy timelines. I would work with her anytime and I know that if she is in charge, I do not have to worry. Amy is an experienced women with a lot of knowledge.”

"Amy Miranda is a Titan in this Industry."
Jack Neary, TBWA CCO

“Amy and her team are a pleasure to work with. They came up with solutions whenever we had questions and over delivered on the scope. I would definitely hire Lunch again and look forward to the next chance to work with Amy"
Leslie Ernst, Senior Digital Producer, Tribal DDB

“Working with Amy was like a breath of fresh air. Having got a project with a seemingly impossible deadline from our client, we knew Amy was THE person to call in the city to help us out. With her team, she turned a vague brief into genuinely great creative, while working a true miracle by delivering on time and on budget."
Andrew Hayes, Account Director, BBDO

" I didn't believe in magicians until I met Amy Miranda. I have a working theory that David Coperfield and David Blaine were mentored by her. She could teach a goat how to read and digest Descartes, if she put her mind to it.  If you are thinking between her and another producer, and you chose the other producer, it's the equivalent of having the choice in double partners between Andrea Agassi or a 15 year old who has only been playing for 2 weeks and has acne , and you choosing the 15 year old. She's that good."
